Dr. Hendrix grew up in Greensboro, NC, attended Davidson College and The Bowman Gray School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He left the Army in 2005 to enter private practice as an Anesthesiologist in Austin, TX, and subsequently Los Angeles, CA at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
In 2020-2021 he completed a fellowship in interventional spine and sports in Birmingham, AL. Following fellowship he entered private practice in Raleigh and Greensboro, NC. Dr. Hendrix joined Carolina Spine and Pain in 2024. He employs a wide array of minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of chronic pain disorders.
